Courses suitable for novices and experienced bakers that take the participants beyond just following recipes.
Based in the beautiful county of Gloucestershire, we are located near J12 of the M5.

Taught by traditional bakers these lessons run throughout the year on all days of the week.

Due to the covid pandemic we have cancelled all our courses - But we have 3 ways that you can still get baking

  • We are selling ingredients from the bakery - please email grahamsbakery@virginmedia.com for details
  • We have developed a range of pre-weighed baking kits with online tutorials that can be collected or posted click here to view Kits
  • We have transferred many of our courses to an online format so you can still learn with us at your own pace in your own home

please check out our online courses at www.breadcourses.com

Baking lessons

The In Depth courses start with the Essential Of Bread making and then offer a progression through many different types of bread. these lessons are for those who want "the answers"

The Basic courses are simple one off classes that give the simplest and quickest method of producing great quality products.

nearly all courses are suitable for vegans (only the Brioche & Chollah and Panetonne & Stollen courses are not vegan)

You can also find us at local markets in Ross-on-Wye and Newnham on Severn selling our range of breads and sweet bun goods, including 5-6 different sourdoughs, spelt loaves, rye breads and focaccias together with the more traditional white, wholemeal and granary styles loaves.  We also have bread, pizza bases, muffins and brownies made with No-Gluten containing ingredients.  Also very popular on our stalls is our 'almost world famous' lardy cakes.
